MUSC 187 <strong>Queens</strong> <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Charlotte</strong> Chorale<br />

The choral ensemble that performs for major <strong>University</strong> concerts on campus and several<br />

church worship services in the community. Open to all students who enjoy and are able to sing.<br />

Repertoire includes secular and sacred choral works from the fifteenth through the twentieth<br />

centuries. Course may be repeated continuously for credit. Fall Term. 1 Hr.<br />

MUSC 188 <strong>Queens</strong> <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Charlotte</strong> Chorale<br />

the <strong>University</strong>. (This course is an elective and does not count for ensemble credit.) Admission<br />

by audition only. Course may be repeated continuously for credit. Fall Term, Spring Term.<br />

Repeatable for a total <strong>of</strong> 5 Hrs 1 Hr.<br />

A survey <strong>of</strong> blues, jazz and rock 'n roll from the turn <strong>of</strong> the century to 1968. Important<br />

artists/composers will be studied and representative examples <strong>of</strong> the music will be experienced.<br />
