THE COLLEGE of ARTS and SCIENCES
The mission of the College of Arts & Sciences is to educate students in the tradition of the
liberal arts to prepare them for noble lives, productive careers and responsibly active citizenship
in an increasingly diverse, technological and global society.
The College of Arts & Sciences is composed of 13 departments offering the following
majors with a variety of tracks and concentrations.

**Hayworth College Majors
The College of Arts & Sciences offers the English and Psychology majors in both the traditional
undergraduate program and the Hayworth College program.
The College of Arts & Sciences offers the Interior Design major, Human and Community
Services major and the Religion major only through the Hayworth College program. Undergraduates
may choose one of these as a second major, but must be prepared to take the required
courses when they are offered through Hayworth College - in the evening, on weekends, online,
and/or as summer classes. Permission of the dean is required.
