If a student has completed TWO courses from two areas, the student would complete<br />

one additional course from the remaining area OR take CORE 122.<br />

Area One: ART 215, ENGL 300, HIST 201, HIST 202, PHIL 203, RELG 205, RELG 206.<br />

Area Two: SOCI 203, PSYC 303, ECON 203, POLS 101, POLS 201, HIST 203,<br />

HIST 204.<br />

Area Three: BIOL 100, CHEM 101, ENVR 101, ENVR 102, PHYS 101, PHIL 204, MATH<br />

104, MATH 206, HIST 299, PSYC 201L with PSYC 201, ENGL 207, ECON<br />

204.<br />

CORE 222: One course (3 semester hours), which is “international” in scope, e.g., World Religion,<br />

Anthropology, Macroeconomics, world-focused Political Science or History or equivalents<br />

to <strong>Queens</strong>’ <strong>of</strong>ferings in the International Studies major. A student takes CORE 222 OR one <strong>of</strong><br />

the course substitutes listed depending on the total number <strong>of</strong> credit hours transferred.<br />

Examples <strong>of</strong> <strong>Queens</strong> Courses (but not limited to the following): RELG 210, ANTH 201,<br />

ECON 203, POLS 250, POLS 299, POLS 270, HIST 307. See International Studies Major.<br />

CORE 412 There are no substitutions for CORE 412.<br />
