Coaching Certificate Requirements<br />

This is a 15 credit hour certificate program requiring 9 credit hours <strong>of</strong> specified courses and 6<br />

credit hours <strong>of</strong> elective options.<br />

The required courses focus on coaching theories and practice, the methods <strong>of</strong> coaching and<br />

the skills needed to coach individuals and/or groups.<br />

The program was built upon the International Coach Federation (ICF) competency model<br />

and the Graduate School Alliance for Executive Coaching (GSAEC) standards.<br />

Required Courses - 9 Hrs.<br />

ODEV 640: Introduction to Coaching Theories and Application<br />

ODEV 645: Advanced Coaching Theories and Practice<br />

ODEV 650: Coaching Practicum<br />

Electives - 6 Hrs.<br />

The 6 credit hours in electives which are required for the Coaching Certificate Program may be<br />

taken from any graduate program at <strong>Queens</strong>, including the MSOD, the PMBA and the MA<br />

OCOM Programs.<br />

Total for Coaching Certificate Program - 15 Hrs.<br />

<strong>Academic</strong> Policies.<br />

The section GRADUATE ACADEMIC POLICIES applies to all graduate students, whether<br />

degree or non-degree, enrolled in the McColl School <strong>of</strong> Business except for those enrolled in<br />

the Executive MBA program.<br />
