Moreschi: Predeterminismo cultural o antipatrimonio
avergonzante.
Queda abierto el debate.
Summary
If we analyze the current globalization in connection with other previous processes, as
that of the europeización of the colonialism and the imposition cultural europeizante of
the XIX century, we will notice the consolidation of processes of exclusion of initiate
social groups with the colonies, reinforced with the action of the groups of power in the
XIX century and beginnings of the XX century, with a remarkable permanency.
In Argentina, the Generation of the 80 with the ideology of the liberal positivismo,
related to Europe and the Industrial Revolution, criticized to the groups that didn't
accept its rules, it perceived the aboriginal matter 32 or of the other ones, as a problem,
a primitive period that should be overcome with the civilization. 33
To this focus it was added with posteriority to the immigrants and, with the time, "poor
people", "people of the village ". The project was to conform in the future a nation
without the aboriginal ones, the gauchos, without barbarians."
This mentality implies contempt to the members and the cultural expressions of other
groups of people", qualifying them as inferior or " subcultures ", and as dangerous or
not very hard-working.
This look of the other one, it can generate in the one dominated, according to Pierre
Bourdieu, a negative autoimagen of their patrimony and their own culture.
If the other one builds a negative image, pessimist, fatalistic, avergonzante of itself and
their cultural patrimony; that it acts as a socio-economic, cultural predetermination; that
it condemns to the social reproduction and it acts like a barrier impassable of social
insert, as cultural condicionamiento that impedes the access to the education, restricts
the valuation of the school like positive element of social change, and it impedes the
arrival to the school success inside the formal system and to the circumstances that
allow the social ascent.
Could we speak of an antipatrimonio?
It is open the debate.
We take the Aboriginal word, with their etymological meaning: of Latin ab origin that means those that
lived in a concrete place from the origin, before any colonization."
