ALIQUOT STRUCTURE OF THE MIXED MUNICIPAL<br />
WASTE IN THE CITY OF OLOMOUC AGGLOMERATION<br />
AND ITS SEASONAL DYNAMICS DURING YEARS 2008 - <str<strong>on</strong>g>2010</str<strong>on</strong>g><br />

ABSTRACT<br />
This paper is the part of the results obtained thanks the program “Science <strong>and</strong><br />
Research” provided by Ministry of Envir<strong>on</strong>ment of Czech Republic, project number<br />
SP2f1/166/08 „Structure of the municipal waste as depends <strong>on</strong> the time <strong>and</strong> locati<strong>on</strong> of<br />
its producti<strong>on</strong> from the point of view of possible use of its comp<strong>on</strong>ents”. Project was<br />
solved by research team of Department of Ecology <strong>and</strong> Envir<strong>on</strong>mental Sciences,<br />
Faculty of Science, Palacky University Olomouc during the period 2008 – <str<strong>on</strong>g>2010</str<strong>on</strong>g>. One<br />
of the key tasks of the project was descripti<strong>on</strong> of the structure of the mixed municipal<br />
waste indigenous from the various types of urbanity of the town. The samples of the<br />
mixed municipal waste from four different types of urbanity of the town were<br />
analyzed each m<strong>on</strong>th during two years. There was possible explore seas<strong>on</strong>al dynamics<br />
<strong>and</strong> trends as well as compare the structure of the waste origin from different<br />
urbanities of the town. Acquired results should help to the municipality to optimize<br />
logistic with comp<strong>on</strong>ents of waste <strong>and</strong> improve affectivity of the primer separati<strong>on</strong>,<br />
refuse collecti<strong>on</strong> <strong>and</strong> availing of separable commodities in the city of Olomouc regi<strong>on</strong>.<br />
The results could helps as a good sample for other cities in Czech Republic with<br />
comparable huge of populati<strong>on</strong>.<br />
