VAVŘÍNOVÁ MILADA (*14. 12. 1918 Česká Třebová +10. 8.
2001 Ústí nad Labem)
První česká žena, která vystudovala geologii na Karlově Univerzitě
v Praze. Za 2. světové války se zapojila do odboje, v letech
1943-1945 byla vězněna nacisty. V Ústí nad Labem žila od roku
1961 až do své smrti. Celý život zasvětila přírodním vědám,
především geologii a botanice.
JAROSLAV VELINSKÝ (*18. 12. 1932 Praha) - Kapitán Kid
Jaroslav Velinský, autor mnoha trampských písniček, žije na
Ústecku již déle než 40 let. Je autorem více než čtyřiceti detektivek
a knih z oblasti sci-fi a nositelem ocenění nejlepší detektivky
i nejlepší povídky roku - cena 'Golem SF Award' (1985),
cena 'Akademie' (1995) a cena 'AIEP' (1995). V Ústí nad Labem
zakládal koncem 60. let 20. století festival trampské hudby
Porta.
MILADA VAVŘÍNOVÁ (*14. 12. 1918 Česká Třebová +10. 8.
2001 Ústí nad Labem)
First Czech woman who studied geology at Charles University
in Prague. In WWII, she joined the resistance movement and
was imprisoned by the Nazis between 1943-1945. She lived in
Ústí nad Labem from 1961 until her death. She devoted all her
life to natural sciences, particularly geology and botany.
JAROSLAV VELINSKÝ (*18. 12. 1932 Praha) - Captain Kid
Jaroslav Velinský, author of many country and folk songs, has
lived in the Ústí region for more than 40 years. He is also the
author of more than forty detective stories and sci-fi novels
and a recipient of the best detective story award and best
story of the year award - the 'Golem SF Award' (1985), the Academy
(1995) award and the 'AIEP' award (1995). He founded
the festival of rambling, country and folk music called Trampská
Porta in Ústí nad Labem at the end of the 1960´s.

Die erste tschechische Frau, die Geologie an der Karls-Universität
in Prag studierte. Während des 2. Weltkriegs nahm sie am
Widerstand/ an der Rebellion teil und in den Jahren 1943-1945
wurden sie von den Nazis gefangen gehalten. In Ústí nad
Labem lebte sie vom Jahre 1961 bis zu ihrem Tod. Ihr ganzes
Leben widmete sie den Naturwissenschaften, vor allem Geologie
und der Botanik.

Jaroslav Velinský, Schaffer vieler Wanderlieder, lebt in der Region
Ústí nad Labem bereits seit mehr als 40 Jahren. Er ist der
Autor von mehr als vierzig Detektivgeschichten, sowie auch
Büchern aus dem Bereich Science-Fiction und trägt den Preis
für die beste Detektivgeschichte und die beste Geschichte des
Jahres – die Preise 'Golem SF Award' (1985), 'Akademie'
(1995) und 'AIEP' (1995). In Ústí nad Labem gründete er am
Ende der 60er Jahre des 20. Jahrhunderts das Festival der
Trampmusik Porta.
