PALÁCOVÁ RODINNÁ VILA CARLA FRIEDRICHA
WOLFRUMA

Současná budova Českého rozhlasu v Ústí nad Labem byla
postavena na úplném sklonku 19. století, v letech 1897-1899, a
to nákladem Carla Friedricha Wolfruma «. Vilu navrhl vídeňský
ateliér architekta Hanse Miksche a stavební práce realizovala
ústecká stavební firma Alwin Köhler. C. F. Wolfrum byl čelným
představitelem významné ústecké továrnické rodiny, která ve
městě provozovala od roku 1843 především tkalcovnu a barvírnu,
ale podnikala také v pivovarnictví, bankovnictví či lihovarnictví.
Vila je postavena
na velmi členitém
čtvercovém půdorysu
s kruhovou
dvoupatrovou
věží v severozápadním
křídle
budovy, přízemí
věže je zároveň
předsíní hlavního
vstupu. Velmi členitá
fasáda je převážně
tvořena
kamenným obkladem,
který je v
patře doplněn
režným zdivem
ve dvou barevných
odstínech, a
poskládaným do
dekorativní geometrické
mozaiky.
Interiér vily je
založen na tzv.
anglickém typu s
vnitřní centrální halou a se schodištěm do ložnicového patra. V
zahradě se nachází kovová plastika „Panter s mladým Dionýsem“
od sochaře Karla Weinbergera. Wolfrumové užívali vilu do
konce 2. světové války. Na konci roku 1945 začalo vysílat z vily
krajské studio Československého rozhlasu. Český rozhlas využívá
budovu dodnes, sídlí zde redakce rozhlasového vysílání
„Sever“.

The current building of the Czech Broadcasting Service in Ústí
nad Labem was built at the very end of the 19th century, between
1897 and 1899, by Carl Friedrich Wolfrum «. It was designed
by the Viennese studio of Hans Miksch and the construction
work was carried out by the local building company Alwin
Köhler. C. F. Wolfrum was the foremost representative of the
renowned entrepreneurial family, which ran a weaving factory
and a dye-house in the town from 1843, but they also dealt
with beer brewing, banking and distilling.
The villa is built
on a very indented
square groundplan
with a circular
two-storey tower
in its north-western
wing, the
ground-floor of
the tower is also a
vestibule of the
main entrance. Its
very indented
facade is mostly
formed by the
stone cladding
combined with
two-colour face
brick-work laid to
form decorative
geometrical mosaics.
The interior is
based on the socalled
English

type with a central
hall and a staircase
leading to the
bedrooms on the first floor. The garden features a metal statue
„Panther with young Dionysius“ by sculptor Karl Weinberger.
The Wolfrums used the villa until the end of WWII. At the end
of 1945, the regional studio of the Czechoslovak Broadcasting
Service started broadcasting from the villa. The Czech Broadcasting
Service still uses the building, with the news-room of
the Broadcasting Service “Sever” seated here.

Das heutige Gebäude des Tschechischen Rundfunks in Ústí
nad Labem wurde ganz am Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts in den
Jahren 1897-1899 gebaut, und zwar auf Kosten von Carl Friedrich
Wolfrum «. Die Villa wurde vom Wiener Atelier des Architekten
Hans Miksch entworfen und die Bauarbeiten von der Aussiger
Baufirma Alwin Köhler realisiert. C. F. Wolfrum war das führende
Mitglied einer bedeutenden Fabrikantenfamilie, welche
seit 1843 in der Stadt vor allem eine Weberei und Färberei betrieben
und auch in Bierbrauerei, Bankwesen oder Brennerei
unternehmisch tätig waren.
Die Villa wurde auf einem sehr gegliederten quadratischen
Grundriss mit einem runden zweistöckigen Turm im Nordwest-
Flügel gebaut; das Erdgeschoss des Turmes ist gleichzeitig der
Vorraum des Haupteingangs. Die sehr gegliederte Fassade
besteht hauptsächlich aus einer Steinverkleidung, welche auf
dem Stockwerk mit rohem Mauerwerk in zwei Farbtönen
ergänzt und in einem dekorativen geometrischen Mosaik
zusammengesetzt wurde. Das Interieur der Villa besteht im sog.
englischen Typ mit einer inneren Zentralhalle und einem Treppenhaus
auf das Schlafzimmerstockwerk. Im Garten befindet
sich eine Metallplastik „Panther mit jungem Dionysos“ vom Bildhauer
Karl Weinberger. Die Wolfrums nutzten die Villa bis zum
Ende des II. Weltkriegs. Am Ende des Jahres 1945 fing das
Kreisstudio des Tschechoslowakischen Rundfunks an, von der
Villa zu übertragen. Der Tschechische Rundfunk nutzt das
