II) PAMÁTKY MĚSTA ÚSTÍ NAD LABEM A OKOLÍ
BLANSKO
Zřícenina hradu Blansko se nachází na zalesněném čedičovém
vrchu na levém břehu Labe po jeho proudu asi 6 kilometrů od
centra Ústí nad Labem. Hrad, jehož dějiny jsou od počátku spojeny
s rodem Vartenberků, je v historických pramenech poprvé
zmíněn v roce 1401 jako Blankenstein. Blansko patrně představovalo
jeden ze strážných hradů v údolí řeky Labe, který byl jak
součástí ochrany zemské hranice, tak zároveň i labské vodní
cesty. Poté, co bylo z hradu na konci 16. století přeneseno panské
sídlo na zámek v Krásném Březně», bylo Blansko užíváno
k různým účelům, například jako vězení. Hrad byl zpustošen za
třicetileté války a poté chátral; dodnes se dochovaly pouze zbytky
hradního paláce s torzy bašt a věže.

The ruins of Castle Blansko are located on a forested basalt
hill on the left bank of the River Labe about 6 kilometres downstream
from the centre of Ústí nad Labem. The castle, the history
of which has been connected since its very beginning to
the Vartenberk family, was firstly referred to in historical sources
in 1401 as Blankenstein. Blansko was presumably one of
the guard castles in the River Labe valley. It was part of the
protection of the border as well as of the Rive Labe waterway.
Once the seat of the domain was transferred to the Chateau
in Krásné Březno» at the end of the 16th century, Blansko was
used for various purposes, for example, as a prison. The castle
was devastated throughout the Thirty Years’ War and is now
dilapidated. Only the remains of the castle palace and a torso
of bastions and the tower have been preserved.

Die Burgruine Blansko (Blankenstein) befindet sich am bewaldeten
Basalthügel am linken Elbufer stromabwärts, ca. 6 km
vom Zentrum der Stadt Ústí nad Labem. Die Burg, deren Geschichte
von Anfang an mit dem Geschlecht von Wartenberg verbunden
ist, wurde im Jahre 1401 das erste Mal in den historischen
Quellen als Blankenstein erwähnt. Blansko stellte wahrscheinlich
eine der Wachburgen im Elbtal dar, welche als ein
Bestandteil des Schutzes sowohl der Landesgrenze, als auch
des Elbwasserweges diente. Nachdem der Herrschersitz am
Ende des 16. Jahrhunderts aus der Burg auf das Schloss in
Krásné Březno (Schönpriesen)» umgelegt wurde, wurde Blansko
für verschiedene Zwecke genutzt, z.B. als Gefängnis. Während
des Dreißigjährigen Krieges wurde die Burg ausgeplündert
und danach verfiel sie; bis heute blieben nur Reste des Burgpalastes
mit Teilen der Basteien und des Turmes erhalten.
