V průběhu 19. století se ve městě zvýšil počet protestantských
rodin; když byli roku 1861 protestanti zrovnoprávněni s katolíky,
bylo nutné pro jejich potřeby podniknout řadu kroků. Nejprve
byla v 60. letech 19. století zřízena škola a pro duchovní potřeby
modlitebna. První evangelický farář zde působil od roku
1880, a to sice Friedrich Albert de Harde. Po něm přichází roku
1883 mnichovský rodák Friedrich Albert Gummi, který roku
1899 iniciuje založení spolku za účelem shromáždit prostředky
na výstavbu kostela. Vyhlášená sbírka byla v poměrně krátké
době úspěšná, jako štědré mecenáše lze jmenovat významné
ústecké podnikatele L. Wolfruma« a M. Schaffnera «. Základ-

Throughout the 19th century, the number of Protestant families
increased in the city. When Protestants became equal to Catholics
in 1861, a number of steps had to be taken to meet their
needs. At first, in the 1860´s a school and a house of worship
for spiritual needs were established . The first Evangelic priest
preached here from 1880, i.e. Friedrich Albert de Harde. After
him, in 1883, a native from Munich, Friedrich Albert Gummi arrived,
who initiated the foundation of the association to raise a
collection to build a church in 1899. The collection was quite
successful quickly. Contributions were made by generous
sponsors, renowned Ústí entrepreneurs such as L. Wolfrum«

Im Laufe des 19. Jahrhunderts stieg die Anzahl der protestantischen
Familien in der Stadt; als die Protestanten im Jahre
1861 mit den Katholikern gleichberechtigt gemacht wurden, war
es notwendig, einige Schritte für ihre Bedürfnisse zu unternehmen.
Zuerst wurde in den 60er Jahren des 19. Jahrhunderts
eine Schule und für geistigen Bedarf auch ein Raum für das
Gebet errichtet. Der erste evangelische Pfarrer Friedrich Albert
de Harde wirkte hier seit 1880. Nach ihm kam im Jahre 1883
der gebürtige Münchner Friedrich Albert Gummi, der im Jahre
1899 die Gründung eines Verbandes begann, mit dem Ziel
finanzielle Mittel für den Aufbau einer Kirche zu sammeln. Die
