Kapanış sırasında, Bilimsel Komite tarafından seçilmiş onbir poster arasından, kura ile
belirlenen bir katılımcıya, “dizüstü bilgisayar” diğer on katılımcıya ise “kitap” hediye
edilecektir. Ayrıca, katılımcılar arasından, kura ile belirlenecek, beş meslektaşımız TBD
2012 yılı Kongresine katılım ücreti ödemeden katılabileceklerdir.
TBD’nin web sayfası yenilenmiş ve adresi değişmiştir: www.turkbiyokimyadernegi.org.tr.
Ayrıca TBD’nin yayın organı olan ve daha önce Chemical Abstract, Directory of Open
Access Journals, Index Copernicus ve Türk Tıp Dizini’nde indekslenen “Turkish
Journal of Biochemistry-Türk Biyokimya Dergisi”, “Science Citation Index
Expanded” kapsamında “on-line” olarak yayınına devam etmektedir ve dergiye www.
turkjbiochem.com adresinden ulaşılabilir.

Decision Limits Workshop” supported by IFCC, and in the other meeting “HbA1c
Standardisation”, that has been oriented by IFCC for standardisation, will be covered.
In addition, Prof. Dr. Gul Guner, The Head of FEBS (Federation of European
Biochemistry Societies) Educational Committee, will inform about how we can benefit
from the broad opportunities of FEBS, of which we have been a member.
Prior to the congress, there will be two workshops about “Interactive Laboratory
Applications: Scanning, Diagnosis, Treatment and Risk Analysis” and “The Invisible
Face of PCR from the Laborant’s Point of View”. These workshops will last one day
and include applications and problem solving as well as theoretical knowledge. We have
also spared an important time for oral and poster presentations in order to encourage our
young colleagues.

During closure, participants of 11 posters chosen by the Scientific Committee will be
awarded various gifts. One participant will be awarded a “labtop” and ten participants
will be awarded “books” by random draw. The registration fee for TBS 2012 Congress
will be waived for five participants that will be chosen among all participants by draw.
The website of TBS has been renewed and the web address has been changed to www.
turkbiyokimyadernegi.org.tr. Also, Turkish Journal of Biochemistry, which is the
publication of TBS and which has been indexed by Chemical Abstract, Directory of
Open Access Journals, Index Copernicus and Turkish Medical Index, is continuting
to be published “on-line” within Science Citation Index Expanded and can be reached
from the website www.turkjbiochem.com.
