(d) Black V-neck sweater may not be worn for ceremonies or<br />

high-level meetings. Cardigans are worn only in<br />

immediate work area.<br />

f. Service dress white<br />

(1) White jumper with ribbons. Females may wear skirt or<br />

slacks.<br />

(2) White hat, combination cap, or beret.<br />

(3) Outer garments: all-weather coat or pea coat.<br />

(4) Occasion for wear: in summer when dinner dress and full<br />

dress uniforms are not prescribed and civilian dress is<br />

coat and tie.<br />

g. <strong>Navy</strong> Service Uniform (NSU)<br />

(1) Khaki shirt and black trousers or slacks/skirt (poly/<br />

wool) with ribbons.<br />

(2) Garrison cap or beret.<br />

(3) Outer garments: pea coat, all-weather coat, Jacket,<br />

Black relaxed fit, black V-neck sweater, or cardigan.<br />

(4) Occasion for wear: normally prescribed as the uniform of<br />

the day for:<br />

(a) Office work.<br />

(b) Watchstanding.<br />

(c) Liberty.<br />

(d) Business ashore.<br />

h. <strong>Navy</strong> Working Uniforms<br />

(1) T-shirt, mock neck sweater and trousers.<br />

(a) T-shirt and mock neck sweater:<br />

1 Collar should fit comfortably around neck.<br />

2 Mock neck sweater sleeve length shall not extend<br />

beyond the length of the NWU shirt sleeve.<br />

(b) Trousers worn at waistline with belt.<br />

(2) 8-Point cover.<br />

(a) Worn square on head (not resting on ears)<br />
