FIRST AID TRAINING
A more serious injury or death can result when a well-intentioned person
with no medical training tries to help an injury victim.
B. Enabling Objective(s):
36.1 Identify the definition of the term "first aid."
36.2 Explain the purposes and objectives of first aid.
36.3 Identify the general rules of first aid.
36.4 Explain the procedures for performing the three primary tasks of
first aid.
36.5 Perform the procedures for clearing an obstruction from a conscious
victim’s airway using an abdominal thrust and a Job Sheet.

simulated injuries while using a Job Sheet.
