a. Leave<br />

OUTLINE SHEET 1-23-1 (continued)<br />

1 Provides money to attend educational institutions<br />

on a voluntary, off duty basis.<br />

2 Pays up to _________% of tuition and expenses.<br />

(1) Definition--Authorized absence from one's place of duty for<br />

an extended period of time, with pay and allowances.<br />

(2) Types of leave<br />

(a) Earned leave--Leave you have _________ (“on the<br />

books”). Can be used as:<br />

1 Regular leave--Military _________ time.<br />

2 Emergency leave<br />
