Bill of Rights<br />

<strong>The</strong> policy of the <strong>Navy</strong>, and this command is to conduct training free<br />

from discrimination, and to ensure equal opportunity and fair<br />

treatment for all persons without regard to race, color, religion,<br />

gender, age, or national origin. This policy is carried out per the<br />

laws and regulations governing the Department of the <strong>Navy</strong>.<br />

Procedures for Reporting Your Complaint/Grievance:<br />

1. Individuals who experience sexual harassment should make it clear<br />

that such behavior is offensive and report sexual harassment to<br />

the appropriate supervisor within the chain of command.<br />

2. If the above is unsuccessful, you may use the <strong>Navy</strong> Grievance<br />

Procedures, the Uniform Code of Military Justice or Request Mast.<br />

3. If you are still unable to resolve the complaint or grievance,<br />

you can lodge a complaint via one or more of the following<br />

hotlines:<br />

a. RTC <strong>Command</strong> Master Chief –(847) 688-3493<br />

b. RTC Legal Office- (847) 688-4791/4792<br />

4. Department of the <strong>Navy</strong> Equal Opportunity/Sexual Harassment Advice<br />

Line: 1-800-253-0931.<br />

SEXUAL HARASSMENT: a form of sexual discrimination that<br />

involves unwelcome behavior directed toward someone when:<br />

1. Submission or rejection of such conduct is an expression or<br />

condition of a person’s job, pay, or career, or<br />

2. Submission to or rejection of such conduct is made by a person<br />

and used as basis for career or employment decisions or<br />

3. Such conduct interferes with an individual’s work performance or<br />

creates an intimidating, hostile, or offensive working<br />

environment.<br />
