This is a gripping family drama based on cultural clichés found<br />
throughout <strong>Europe</strong>. The main protagonist, Anika, leaves her<br />
middle-class exist<strong>en</strong>ce in Malmö and escapes to Cop<strong>en</strong>hag<strong>en</strong>. She<br />
wants to understand why her husband sp<strong>en</strong>ds every week<strong>en</strong>d in<br />
Cop<strong>en</strong>hag<strong>en</strong>, but she also wants to re-assess herself and her life.<br />
Little by little, the opportunity of a new life reveals itself to Anika,<br />
and with it a new her. However, the discovery also brings confusion.<br />
Anika is trapped betwe<strong>en</strong> Malmö and Cop<strong>en</strong>hag<strong>en</strong>. Unable to<br />
choose betwe<strong>en</strong> them, she chooses both... The Cop<strong>en</strong>hag<strong>en</strong> mermaid,<br />
Anika’s kindred spirit, also wanted to lead a double life: in the deep<br />
sea and on dry land.<br />
Un drame de famille saisissant basé sur des clichés culturels<br />
reconnaissables dans toute l’<strong>Europe</strong> ... <strong>Le</strong> personnage principal de<br />
la pièce, Anika, fuit de manière inatt<strong>en</strong>due sa vie de famille aisée<br />
à Malmö pour aller à Cop<strong>en</strong>hague. Elle cherche à compr<strong>en</strong>dre son<br />
mari qui, chaque week-<strong>en</strong>d, part pour Cop<strong>en</strong>hague, mais elle veut<br />
aussi se regarder elle-même d’un autre point de vue. Peu à peu la<br />
possibilité d’une autre vie s’ouvre à Anika comme une nouvelle<br />
part d’elle-même. Mais cette découverte met de la confusion dans<br />
son esprit et ses s<strong>en</strong>tim<strong>en</strong>ts. Entre les deux villes de Malmö et de<br />
Cop<strong>en</strong>hague, Anika se trouve piégée. Ne pouvant pas choisir une des<br />
côtes, elle choisit les deux... Double d’Anika, la sirène, le symbole de<br />
Cop<strong>en</strong>hague, a égalem<strong>en</strong>t cherché à m<strong>en</strong>er une vie double : dans la<br />
mer profonde et sur la terre ferme...<br />
