A poor woman unexpectedly inherits from an unknown American
grandmother, but there are very enigmatic conditions attached to
this inheritance: the heroine must read the diary of a young woman,
a distant relation of hers who was shot during the Second World
War. And she must not simply read the diary, but also perform it to
respect the terms of her grandmother’s will. Gradually, the woman
overcomes her internal resistance and meets surprising characters
while learning about unknown events that had occurred in her
family. This play is a voyage into the depths of memory and the
subconscious.
Une femme pauvre hérite de manière inattendue d’une grand-mère
américaine inconnue. Mais les conditions de cet héritage sont
énigmatiques : l’héroïne doit lire le journal d’une jeune femme,
une relation lointaine qui a été fusillée pendant la deuxième guerre
mondiale. Et il ne suffit pas de le lire, mais il faut également le
jouer pour respecter le testament de la grand-mère... Peu à peu
la femme surmonte ses résistance intérieures et rencontre des
personnages inattendus, tout en apprenant des événements inconnus
de sa famille et de leur entourage... Un voyage dans les profondeurs
de la mémoire et du subconscient...
