salida
exit
Nahum’s car has broken down and he is forced to spend the night
in a brothel with a dodgy-looking guy called Pato, Begonia, the only
hooker working there, and the Countess, who runs the establishment.
The Countess is adamant that she will die at dawn. Flitting between
laughter and revolt, she insists that all three present characters
aid her in her death. One night, one brothel, a shimmering green
and purple butterfly and secrets that slowly make their way to the
surface... Salida means exit. But here it is also the entry. This play is
a reflection on our attempts to escape, and above all, on the way we
lead our lives. In this play, the exploration of death is not morbid,
rather, it confirms how precious life is.
