The play tells about a young man called Yan. He meets a girl<br />
named Valerie and falls in love with her. But Yan’s family and all<br />
his community are against this relationship. His mother and all the<br />
community insist they can not have such feeling as love. So the two<br />
young people are forced to overcome a huge range of obstacles.<br />
Great efforts are made to separate them. Yan tries to avoid Valerie’s<br />
direct question: “What is going on?” But, wh<strong>en</strong> it comes to life<br />
or death situation, he confesses that he is a demon and all his<br />
community are demons ruled by Master, whose name everybody is<br />
scared to utter. For their community, to fall in love means the same<br />
thing as getting leprosy. In spite of this, Yan goes against his own<br />
community and chooses love.<br />
La pièce raconte une histoire d’amour <strong>en</strong>tre Yan et Valerie, histoire<br />
contrariée par toute la famille et l’<strong>en</strong>tourage de Yan. <strong>Le</strong>s jeunes<br />
g<strong>en</strong>s sont obligés de surmonter un grand nombre d’obstacles.<br />
Mais Yan essaie d’éviter une question de Valerie qui veut savoir<br />
ce qui se passe. Ce n’est qu’au mom<strong>en</strong>t ou ils sont m<strong>en</strong>acés d’un<br />
danger de mort que Yan confesse qu’il est un démon, que tous les<br />
membres de sa communauté sont des démons et que, pour eux,<br />
tomber amoureux est comme attraper la lèpre. Pourtant Yan va à<br />
l’<strong>en</strong>contre de sa communauté et choisit l’amour.
