Once upon a time, there was an uprising, a murder, an abandoned<br />
child – and th<strong>en</strong>, quite unexpectedly, came love... what a<br />
coincid<strong>en</strong>ce! The inhabitants of a remote mountain village eye<br />
two new arrivals from the big city with some suspicion: a young<br />
woman and a young man, Amalthea and Manuel. And no, they are<br />
not a couple. In Bulbus certain rules are adhered to. The people<br />
who live there have their own history, but will never refer to it. It<br />
is a pretty little village, but only so pretty because of that, which<br />
is not m<strong>en</strong>tioned. Sleep is deep, the weather is cold. Only on the<br />
curling rink is the old flame re-ignited. Like a lightning storm.<br />
For Amalthea and Manuel a story is about to begin, a tale about<br />
which they have no inkling. Two people in search of their own<br />
history, four villagers not about to part with what they know. In the<br />
snowdrifts of Bulbus, the footprints on the paths of history cross<br />
and crisscross, and stories and histories are wov<strong>en</strong> anew.<br />
Il était une fois une révolte, un meurtre, un <strong>en</strong>fant abandonné – et<br />
puis, de manière tout à fait inatt<strong>en</strong>due, arriva l’amour... Est-ce une<br />
coïncid<strong>en</strong>ce ? <strong>Le</strong>s habitants d’un village retiré dans la montagne<br />
regard<strong>en</strong>t les nouveaux arrivants de la ville avec suspicion : une<br />
jeune femme et un jeune homme, Amalthea et Manuel, un couple<br />
qui n’<strong>en</strong> est pas un. A Bulbus, on respecte certaines règles. <strong>Le</strong>s g<strong>en</strong>s<br />
qui y viv<strong>en</strong>t ont leur propre passé, mais on n’<strong>en</strong> parle pas. C’est un<br />
beau village, mais il est seulem<strong>en</strong>t beau à cause de tout ce qui y<br />
est tu. <strong>Le</strong> sommeil est profond, il fait froid. Il n’y a que sur la piste<br />
de curling qu’une vieille flamme rejaillit furtivem<strong>en</strong>t. Comme lors<br />
d’un orage. Pour Amalthea et Manuel, une histoire comm<strong>en</strong>ce dont<br />
ils n’ont pas idée. Deux êtres à la recherche de leur passé, quatre<br />
habitants du village qui ne veul<strong>en</strong>t pas révéler leur secret. Dans<br />
la neige de Bulbus, les traces du passé se crois<strong>en</strong>t, des histoires et<br />
l’histoire s’y mêl<strong>en</strong>t à nouveau.<br />
