Alexandre Sutto has just died, but his death is being hidd<strong>en</strong> so that<br />
he can be re-elected. This would suit the cosy band of hangers-on<br />
around him who profit from his being in power. The play is based on<br />
a historical ev<strong>en</strong>t that took place in 1821 in Romania.<br />
Alexandre Sutto vi<strong>en</strong>t de mourir et on va cacher sa mort pour qu’il<br />
soit réélu une nouvelle fois. C’est ce qui arrange tout le petit monde<br />
qui gravite autour de lui, tous les profiteurs du pouvoir. L’auteur est<br />
parti d’un fait historique qui a eu lieu <strong>en</strong> 1821 <strong>en</strong> Roumanie.<br />
