1201 BWEA (Ms Gemma Grimes) [1190]
1 Support
Summary BWEA welcomes forthcoming SPG on renewable energy development and looks forward to working closely with the council in developing this guidance.
BWEA ask that the council publish a clear timetable for the development of this SPG in order to ensure that all relevant stakeholders are able to provide input
into this guidance.
198 RWE Npower Renewables (Mr Martin Cole) [474]
1 Support
Summary We welcome the fact that a SPG will be produced to provide guidance on renewable energy. Given CCBC's recognition of the county's susceptibilities to
climate change, their iminent nature and the role renewable energy has in mitigating these adverse impacts we urge CCBC to act quickly in producing and
adopting an appropriate SPG.
Change Sought: No change to LDP but we urge CCBC to act quickly in producing and adopting an appropriate SPG.
Change Sought: Incorporate the statistics in the attached document and their implications into all other major planning documents across CCBC (where relevant) as few
1503 Community Development Services - Conwy County Borough Council (Mr Robert Dix) [1878]
Summary 2. DP/7 lays out an impressive list of briefs and SPG to be prepared. It is unclear if this includes for the redevelopment of existing employment sites, with
Llandudno Junction particularly in mind. Equally reference is made to a 'masterplan' for the Strategic Regeneration Area. This should be edited to refer to the
town centres only we would suggest. This equally raises the issue of whether or not reference should be made to the existing Junction Master Plan and the
potential of a similar document required for Llandudno.
Change Sought: See summary.
1485 Mr Jonathan Cawley [1876]
Summary There is no suggested date for the publication of the renewable energy SPG - this is necessary to ensure its timely delivery.
Change Sought: A date is required for the publication of the Renewable Energy SPG.
