Summary The objectives and principles laid out within the Vision are supported: albeit it is considered that greater consideration should be given to more efficient use of
proposed mixed use sites, such as the site as Esgyryn, for additional residential development to meet the needs of a younger population. The site can offer
high quality design and energy efficiency in a sustainable location and within one of the key identified urban settlements. Failure to best use such sites for
development is deemed to be unsound and unsustainable.

Summary Paragraph states "The housing needs of the area will be better met". We believe the vision should clearly state that the housing needs will be met in their
entirety. The phrase "better met" does not give any clarity in terms of how the housing needs and requirements of the County will be dealt with.
We believe it is inappropriate for the LDP Vision to make such an ambiguous reference to how the housing needs are requirements of the area will be dealt
with, particularly given the important contribution housing makes to the economy and social fabric of society.
