Summary Paragraph 4.4.7.2 refers to caravan and chalet parts in Towyn and Kinmel Bay. As mentioned previously, the Protocol being finalized currently between
ourselves and your council includes a section on how planning applications for extending the operating season should be assessed. You may feel it
appropriate to add a reference to this document in this paragraph so developers are aware of the existence and importance of the Protocol.
Summary My objection to the present policy of 10.5 months occupancy in a caravan or chalet per year is because this policy is virtually impossible to monitor or enforce
There is a danger that many of the larger chalets or caravans will become permanent dwellings.
Change Sought: The holiday season in a caravan or chalet should be no more than 9 months each year. This will assist in enforcing the policy.
