Summary The LDP's Wind Energy Strategic Search Area (SSA) does not appear to reflect the area set out in TAN 8 (and I would guess it is based on a 2010 target -
rather than 2022 which is the end date of the LDP). There is no reference to the capacity of the SSA or how many wind farms they envisage. Linked to the
above point, there is no reference to wind energy targets (either Governmental 2010 / 2020 targets, TAN 8 targets or LDP specific targets).
