The description of the term 'community facilities' is not clear and there is no entry in the Glossary. Change Sought: We can find no policy in the document that specifically protects and enhances existing arts and cultural 'opportunities' nor that new facilities will be developed. 1498 Community Development Services - Conwy County Borough Council (Mr Robert Dix) [1878] 1 Object Summary Para 4.135 recognises that there are many more facilities and services required, be they leisure, health, social or economic, but the policy content of the Plan does not support this. Change Sought: Through the Rural Community Action Plan we now have substantive appraisals for many of the communities within the rural area and are working towards ful coverage. Reference should be made to these and consideration given to where in the villages some of the requirements could be accommodated. Equally through regeneration programmes within the coastal area a picture is being built up in respect of some of the deficiencies in community facilities provision. 132
