18992 Miss Ann Lea Hughes [4421]
Summary The Plan removes the line of the by-pass from the proposals map. The LDP continues to make provision for a by-pass (initially in the form of link roads
serving the proposed housing and employments sites) but with the intention of forming a by-pass to the south and east of the town. As stated previously there
are no highways grounds for a by-pass but it remains the intent of the Council to secure, as a development led scheme, a by-pass to the south-east of the
Town. The plan is silent on whether it will be wholly within its lifespan.
Change Sought: That the proposals map be modified through the deletion of the route from the LDP.
14475 Cyngor Tref Bodelwyddan Town Council (Ms Jenny Prendergast) [4455]
1 Object
Summary Bodelwyddan Town council passed a resolution at its meeting on 21st April 2011 to support the objections to the LDP raised by Abergele Town Council.
Bodelwyddan Town Council are also conerned that the LDP for Conwy and LDP for Denbighshire both cite large scale building of houses and industrial units
within a small distance of each other.
If both these plans were to meet approval there will be a substantial strain on the infrastructure servicing both communities, the education and health services
would be put under a considerable amount of pressure.
Change Sought: The Town Council objects to the by-pass proposed and requests that the proposals map be modified through the deletion of the route from the LDP.
