appropriate for adopted planning policy to enforce the requirements of SPG that is not subject to the checks and balances, including independent scrutiny,
afforded to the LDP.
In addition to this, this approach is also contrary to National Guidance.
Change Sought: The reference to adherence to SPG within Policy DP/5 must be removed as it is contrary to National Guidance.
