На следующем этапе развития возникают письменно-литературные<br />

языки с ограниченной поливалентностью.<br />

Наконец, на последнем этапе формируются литературные языки,<br />

способные обеспечивать все сферы коммуникации - образование, науку,<br />

государственное управление, юриспруденцию, художественную литературу<br />

и т. д.<br />

На наш взгляд, выделение этих трех периодов в определенной<br />

степени оказывается релевантным и для литературных языков Дагестана.<br />

General Theoretical Problems of Periodization<br />

of Literary Daghestanian Languages Development<br />

Literary language, being one of the forms of national culture, may be defined<br />

as a historical category. In conformity to language changes on its way of<br />

development certain periods or stages are usually distinguished in the history of<br />

languages. The development of social relations at definite stages brings out appearance<br />

of separate overdialect forms of the language (they may be characterized<br />

depending on concrete historical conditions as koyne, halfdialects or cultural<br />

dialects). These forms in turn create the base of literary written tradition. At<br />

the next stage of development the written literary languages with limited polyvalence<br />

are formed. Finally at the last stage there are formed literary languages,<br />

which can serve all spheres of communication – education, science, state management,<br />

jurisprudence, fiction and others. Distinguishing of these three periods<br />

in a certain degree turns out to be relevant also for literary languages of Daghestan.<br />
