SMIQDigital Standard 3GPP W-CDMA (FDD)EXECUTE TRIGGERExecutes a trigger event at the start of the W-CDMA chip sequence.IEC/IEEE-bus command :TRIG:DM:IMMFig. 2-108TRIGGER...DIGITAL STD – WCDMA/3GPP – TRIGGER... menuOpens a window to select the trigger source, to configure trigger output signalsand to set the delay of an external trigger signal (see also section 2.14.2.11).TRIGGER SOURCEFor selecting the trigger source.EXTThe W-CDMA chip sequence is started fromframe 1 on the active edge of an externaltrigger signal. The polarity, the trigger thresholdand the input resistance of the TRIGIN inputcan be changed in the DIGITAL MOD - EXTINPUTS menu.INT A trigger event is activated manually byEXECUTE TRIGGER.IEC/IEEE-bus :SOUR:W3GP:TRIG:SOUR EXTEXT TRIGGERDELAYEXT RETRIGGERINHIBITFor setting the number of chips by which an externaltrigger signal is delayed before it starts the W-CDMAchip sequence. This is used to set up synchronizationwith the DUT or other units.IEC/IEEE-bus :SOUR:W3GP:TRIG:DEL 3Sets the number of chips by which a restart isdelayed after a trigger event. If the RETRIGTRIGGER MODE is selected, every further triggersignal restarts the W-CDMA chip sequence. Thisrestart is inhibited for the number of chips that havebeen entered.Example:The effect of entering 82000 chips is that any furthertrigger signal is ignored for 82000 chips after atrigger event.IEC/IEEE-bus :SOUR:W3GP:TRIG:INH 820001125.5555.03 2.185E-9
