External Modulation Source AMIQSMIQ(LEVEL...) OUTPUT TYPE This command switches between ground-referredoutputs I and Q (UNBalanced) and differential I andQ outputs (BALanced).UNBalanced The level indicated for LEVEL I/Q (0 Vto 1 V) is the amplitude Vp of the innerconductor of BNC connectors I and Qreferred to ground, measured on aterminating impedance of 50 W.BALanced The level indicated for LEVEL I/Q (0 Vto 4 V) is the amplitude Vpp betweenthe inner conductors of BNCconnectors I and as well as Q andwith a high-impedance termination.OUTPUT OFFIMPEDANCEDIGITAL OUTPUTThis command sets the impedance of the AMIQoutputs disconnected by LEVEL I/Q=OFF, with orwithout option AMIQ-B2 (differential outputs). Theoutput impedance is indicated for both channels. If the command LEVEL I/Q != OFF is activated whenthe AMIQ outputs are switched on, this is equivalentto presetting which will only have an effect when theAMIQ outputs are turned off.509 Corresponds to the setting LEVEL I/QVAR = 0 V.HIGH The output connectors are isolated witha relay and become high impedance.Switching the digital outputs on or off (option AMIQ-B3).CHANNEL COUPLING Switches on/off coupling of level setting for the I andQ channel.OFF Separate setting of the two channelsON Combined setting of the two channelsLEVEL I/QLEVELSelection of level setting for the I/Q channel.OFF Switch-off of output0.5V/50Ohm Fixed setting of 1 V pp into 50 OhmVAR Variable setting of levelNote:The fine setting of level and offset canbe made in menu AMIQ CTRL -SETUP....Variable setting of level for the I/Q channel. Thismenu item is displayed only with LEVEL I/Q = VAR.1125.5555.03 2.364 E-9
