SMIQExternal Modulation Source AMIQ(SETUP...)SOFTWAREVERSIONOPTIONSR<strong>ES</strong>ET AMIQINT ADJUSTDisplay of the current AMIQ firmware version AMIQ.Display of AMIQ options.Resets AMIQ to a defined basic state.Starts automatic self-adjustment of AMIQ:− Level adjustment (I/Q) to 1.0 <strong>Vol</strong>t when fullyequipped− Offset adjustment (I/Q) to a minimum− Fine adjustment of reference oscillator to 10 MHz− Minimization of delay between I and Q channelUSER CORRECTION The user correction allows the fine adjustment oflevel and offset of the I and Q channel as well as theminimization of the delay between the channels ofthe complete system. The internal adjustment (INT ADJUST) is not takeninto account.SET DEFAULTResets the user correction to the default values. This applies to the following parameters:− LEVEL I GAIN (*)− OFFSET I FIX (*)− OFFSET I VAR (**)− LEVEL Q GAIN (*)− OFFSET Q FIX (*)− OFFSET Q VAR (**)− SKEW (I-Q)* These parameters will only be effectiveprovided that a fixed level of 0.5 V/50 Ohm hasbeen assigned to the corresponding channel. For variable levels, the settings of these parametersare ineffective. A correction of the gainfactor is possible when the level is entered.** These parameters are only effective in case ofvariable levels and have no effect in case offixed levels. The level is set in the submenu LEVEL...(LEVEL I/Q = 0.5V/50 Ohm or VAR).LEVEL I GAIN Fine adjustment of gain factor for I channel in case offixed level. Relative gain factors in the range ±10%can be entered.OFFSET I FIX Fine adjustment of level offset for the I channel incase of fixed level. The relative factors ±1.0correspond to a an offset detuning of ±30 mV.1125.5555.03 2.359E-9
