Arbitrary Waveform Generator ARBSMIQSELECT WAVEFORM... WAVEFORM LENGTH Displays the number of samples contained in thewaveform.IEC/IEEE bus command :ARB:WAV:POIN?CLOCK FREQUENCYIQ FILTERIQ SWAPBERT PRBSBERT DATA BITSProvides the sample rate which the waveform hasbeen generated for. This value is always entered asCLOCK FREQUENCY parameter of the ARB MODmenu with loading a waveform (independent of SETSMIQ ACCORDING TO WAVEFORM).IEC/IEEE bus command :ARB:WAV:TAG? 'CLOCK'Displays the setting used for calculation of thewaveform in WinIQSIM. WinIQSIM sets this value to0 (OFF), if the waveform is calculated for the SMIQin particular. If, however, a compensation for an IQfilter is taken into account (for example whencalculating the waveform for AMIQ), thecompensation is automatically counted back by theSMIQ. Independently from this setting, however, asuitable IQ filter can be selected in the SMIQ.Compensation of the IQ filter is executedautomatically by the SMIQ.The value of the waveform is used in the VECTORMOD menu for the IQ filter if this is enabled in theSET SMIQ ACCORDING TO WAVEFORM menu.IEC/IEEE bus command:ARB:WAV:TAG? 'LACP FILTER'Indicates the setting used with the waveformcalculation in WinIQSIM. The value is used in theVECTOR MOD menu for the IQ SWAP setting afterenabling in the SET SMIQ ACCORDING TOWAVEFORM menu.IEC/IEEE bus command:ARB:WAV:TAG? 'IQ SWAP'Displays the type of PRBS used for the data inWinIQSIM, if the data have been prepared for aBER measurement. The setting is used in the BERT menu for setting thetype of PRBS after clearing in the SET SMIQACCORDING TO WAVEFORM menu. A waveformcannot be used always for a BER measurement. Ifnot, the display reads NONE.IEC/IEEE bus command:ARB:WAV:TAG? 'PRBS LENGTH'Indicates the number of data bits in a waveform, ifthe data have been prepared for a BER measurementby WinIQSIM. If the waveform cannot be usedfor a BER measurement, zero is displayed, here.IEC/IEEE bus command:ARB:WAV:TAG? 'BERT DATABITS'1125.5555.03 2.350E-9
