RF FrequencySMIQEXCLUDE FROM RCL OFF The saved frequency is also loaded when instrument settings areloaded with the [RCL] key or with a memory sequence.IEC/IEEE-bus command SOUR:FREQ:RCL INCLON The RF frequency is not loaded when instrument settings areloaded, the current frequency is maintained.IEC/IEEE-bus command SOUR:FREQ:RCL EXCL2.4.1 Frequency OffsetThe SMIQ offers the possibility of entering an offset (OFFSET) of possibly series-connected instrumentsin the FREQUENCY menu. The indication/input value of FREQ in the header field considers this inputand represents the frequency value of the RF signal at the output of these instruments (cf. Fig. 2-17).The entry values FREQUENCY and OFFSET in the menu FREQUENCY or FREQ in the header line arerelated to the RF output frequency as follows :FREQ - OFFSET = output frequency (= FREQUENCY).An offset entry causes no modification of the RF output frequency but only a modification of the displayvalue in the FREQ field in the header line, ie FREQ in the header line indicates the offset-associatedfrequency and FREQUENCY in the menu FREQUENCY the RF output frequency. The status lineindicates FREQ-OFFST.The offset setting also remains effective with the frequency sweep.SMIQInput valueOFFSET(FREQUENCY menu)L.O.RF output frequency(FREQUENCY in the FREQUENCY menu)MixerFREQ in the header fieldFig. 2-17Example of a circuit with frequency offset1125.5555.03 2.46E-8
