D'Aless<strong>and</strong>ro 2003, Reinhart <strong>and</strong> Siloni 2005, Zribi-Hertz 2009, Medová 2009).<br />

In <strong>the</strong> reflexive (200)a, <strong>the</strong> nominative is agreed to come from [Spec, vP]<br />

(through such diagnostics as <strong>the</strong> impossibility <strong>of</strong> genitive clitic subextraction). The<br />

nature <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> object is less clear. For certain purposes such as inversion constructions,<br />

se-reflexives behave as unergatives ra<strong>the</strong>r than transitives (Medová 2009:<br />

4.3-4). So however do transitives with idiomatic objects (Kayne 1979). These di-
