origen comprimido sobre la cápsula. Los neurofibromas,<br />

por el contrario, aparecen como masas fusiformes, no<br />

encapsuladas.<br />

Los tumores malignos casi siempre se originan por<br />

transformación sarcomatosa de un neurofibroma previo.<br />

Pueden ser globulosos o fusiformes, bien circunscritos,<br />

con una seudocápsula fibrosa, el nervio ciático es el más<br />

interesado. En la ecografía los bordes pueden ser mal definidos<br />

y estar adheridos a los tejidos vecinos. Se recomienda<br />

la biopsia que suele ser muy dolorosa.<br />
