Les mécanismes d’action des contraintes sur le tissu osseux sont nombreux et<br />

complexes. Certains rest<strong>en</strong>t <strong>en</strong>core mal expliqués et leur interaction avec<br />

des mécanismes hormonaux rest<strong>en</strong>t <strong>en</strong>core à préciser. Ceux-ci permett<strong>en</strong>t<br />

néanmoins de compr<strong>en</strong>dre les effets des contraintes diverses et variées<br />

<strong>en</strong>g<strong>en</strong>drées par l’activité physique sur le squelette.<br />
