As you are aware, we are currently carrying out a
research study on this unit. It is hoped that the
outcome of this study will contribute to improving
resident care. This study will involve several
methods of data collection. These include interviews
with staff, residents and residents’ families,
observations of the working day, staff surveys and
looking at nursing documentation.
Within this study all participants’ anonymity
and confidentiality will be guaranteed. The unit
will remain anonymous and people’s names will
be replaced with numbers.
