m) Columns and footings below G.I. shall be painted with two coats
of bitumen.
n) The rate shall include use of plasticizer, curing compound,
Hackaid plast, chemical adhesives or bonding agents etc.
wherever necessary as per directive of Engineer.
o) The rate for concrete items shall be for lifting concrete from
ground level only. The contractor shall keep this point in view
while quoting the rates.
p) Whenever concrete has been specified by strength as per the
particular specification the cement content shall not be less than
the specified.
q) In all RCC work rates shall be exclusive of reinforcement (unless
otherwise specified) which shall be paid for separately.
r) The rates quoted for beams shall include for plinth beams,
cantilevers, inverted cantilevers, pergola rib and sloping beams,
gutter beams, etc.
s) When columns and beams with different mixer, are specified, the
rate shall include the extra cost involved to fill the columns with
the specified mix at the junction of columns and beams.
t) The rates quoted for columns shall be for columns of all shapes
and sizes.
u) Holes in RCC slabs, parapets, steps, walls etc., for rain water
pipes, railing, plumbing pipes, spouts etc., shall be left at the
time of casting concrete. Nothing extra shall be paid on this
account. These holes will be made good after fixing the
pipes/railing etc. for which nothing extra will be paid.
