8.6 ARRANGEMENT FOR TRAFFIC:
During the period of construction, the arrangement for traffic shall be
made in accordance with the provisions of Clause 112 of MORT&H
specifications (Fourth Revision).
8.7 MEASUREMENT FOR PAYMENT:
8.8 RATE:
Tack coat shall be measured in terms of surface area of application in
square metres.
The contract unit rate for tack coat shall be payment in full for carrying
out the required operations including for all components listed in
Clause 401.8 (i) to (v) of MORT&H specifications (Fourth Revision) and
as applicable to the work specified in these specifications. The rate shall
cover the provision of tack coat as per Schedule “A”.
9.0 BITUMINOUS BOUND MACADAM:
Providing and laying Bitumen Bound Macadam surface in 75 thickness
including supplying all materials, including metal and bitumen etc.,
spreading 40 mm and 20 mm trap metal layers @ 9 cu.m./100 sq.m.
and at 1.5 cu.m./100 sq.m., heating and spraying bitumen at the rate
250 kg/100 sqm and spreading 12 mm size key aggregate @ 1.8
cu.m./100 sq.m. providing and applying tack coat at the rate of 10
kg/10 sqm. using 60-70 grade bitumen and compaction with vibratory
roller etc. complete. Rate is excluding tack coat and tack coat shall be
paid separately.
