NOTE : 1) If the drop arrangement is provided only on one side the width
given above for manholes with drop arrangement shall be reduced
by 0.2 M across the trench.
2) The size of the manhole etc. mentioned above are approximately
rounded figures. Marginal variations in the sizes of manhole covers
are acceptable.
3) Statement showing widths to be given for excavation for 1.80 M x
2.40 M scraper type manholes.
