TAB 3 – TRAVEL TIMES AND TRIPEXPENSESTravel TimesThe purpose of Tab 3 is to display passenger travel times and expenses on anindividual level, and to allow users to edit them if necessary. This screen isdivided into two main sections:• Travel Times – below• Trip Expenses – on page 95In earlier versions of <strong>Travel$ense</strong>, these previously were on separate tabs. Bothtables are set according to the leg and passenger drop-down selectors at thetop of the tab. Times set here affect the Cost of Employee Travel Time and theTrue Cost of Employee Travel Time on Tab 4, as well as several time and costitems in Tab 5.93In the upper portion of the third tab <strong>Travel$ense</strong> creates a small spreadsheetfor each passenger, for each leg to display travel times. These times are totaledat the bottom of the spreadsheet by leg. The cost of that travel time, calculatedduring business hours plus the cost of valued after-hours travel time (at thepercentage specified in Non-Business Hour Travel Time Valuation in thedefaults) also is displayed.The total time from door to door on a given leg is broken down into fivecomponents within <strong>Travel$ense</strong>, each with a corresponding row in thespreadsheet shown. Starting in chronological order, there is the drive time tothe airport, departure processing time, enroute time, arrival processing timeand drive time to the site, office or home.The drive times and processing times initially are populated from the defaultvalues.
