TRAVEL$ENSECHARGE CREW EXPENSES DEFAULT31For each trip, crew expenses can be charged, if desired. Crew expenses arecalculated and charged using Time-Triggered Expenses just as they are for thepassengers, multiplied by the number of crew members aboard as definedunder Aircraft on Tab 1, Define Trip. Crew expenses include meals, hotels andmiscellaneous expenses but exclude personal car mileage and parking costs.These expenses do not appear on Tab 3, Trip Expenses, nor are they changeableby the user. They are included in the totals on Tab 4, Cost Analysis, under OtherTrip Expenses.Time Default SettingsThe Times Tab allows users to enter default per person travel times. Thesetimes are used initially to incorporate and help calculate travel times underseveral separate conditions defined below. They are entered for businessaircraft and separately for airline aircraft. These defaults can be changed tomore closely match local conditions on the fly on a per passenger and/or pertrip basis on Tab 2, Trip Times.DRIVE TIME TO AIRPORTDrive Time to Airport is the average amount of travel time in minutes, timedfrom the point passengers leave the home/office/site until they arrive on airportproperty, prior to parking or being delivered to a departure terminal. Enterdefault time estimates separately for business aircraft and airline airport toaccount for (usually) different drive times to a business aircraft airport FBO orCopyright © 1999, National Business Aviation Association, Inc.
