TRAVEL$ENSEThe Short Trip Report111The Short Trip Report consists of the trip data component (middle page) of theTrip Report. Both the benefits of business aircraft cover page and thedefinitions end page are omitted. This report will fit on a single page for mostone-, two- and three-leg trips. If your trip has many passengers, multiple airlinetrips or more than three legs, then the data section will require two pages. If you have assigned billing codes to the passengers on the trip, then you canrun the trip report limited to one or more billing codes. Click on the “BillingCodes” button on the Select a Report screen to view the Select Billing Code(s)screen. Each billing code assigned to passengers on the trip, along with thepassengers assigned to it, is shown. Pick one or more codes and then run thereport. The report data will be recalculated just for those billing codes. This includesairline tickets for just those passengers and an allocation of the business aircraftcosts by passenger. The report indicates that the results do not cover all of thesaved trips by listing the billing codes selected at the top and by the label(partial trip report). The number of billing codes currently set always is shown on the Select aReport screen and applies to the Trip Report, Short Trip Report and DetailedTrip Report. To clear the billing codes for subsequent reports click on the“Billing Codes” button and click again on each code to de-select it.The Detailed Trip ReportThe Detailed Trip Report lists a large amount of data for the current trip usefulfor chief pilots or <strong>Travel$ense</strong> troubleshooting. Times and expenses are givenindividually by passenger for each leg of the trip. This report omits the first andlast page of the Trip Report and thus is not intended for presentation tomanagement.Copyright © 1999, National Business Aviation Association, Inc.
