TRAVEL$ENSEstart of an after-hours meeting. Users may want to adjust the business hours ofthe passenger(s) temporarily if needed or to select flights manually to make anappropriate trip.ONE WAY TRIPSUsers should avoid one way trips unless necessary, since some cost aspectscannot be captured fully. For instance, site time is not calculated, sinceTravel$ense does not know when you are leaving the site. Similarly, other itemson Tab 5 can not be calculated, such as time away, return time, etc.OVERNIGHTS ON ONE WAY TRIPSOvernight costs are charged to the next leg, so overnight costs will not beadded to one leg costs. They can be inserted manually on the expenses Tab asneeded.PARKING EXPENSES ON ONE WAY TRIPSParking expenses are charged only for more than one leg trips based on thenumber of days away for each returning passenger, and thus do not appear onone leg trips. Consequently, parking expenses can be inserted manually on theexpenses Tab as needed.DELETING AIRPORTSUsers can delete airports but it will cause errors when reopening any storedtrips for which any flights even pass through that airport. A piece of thecomplex calculations Travel$ense performs will be absent, possibly causing theprogram to fail. Consequently, airports added to the database, unless unused, should be left intact. The additional airports have no ill effects on performanceor use.195Copyright © 1999, National Business Aviation Association, Inc.
