TRAVEL$ENSEThe Trip Database Statistics ReportThe Trip Database Statistics Report is designed to help provide an overview ofthe trips saved in your database, including any that do not yet have airline dataor have unusual results that might warrant examination. This report is not ananalytical report in terms of the results of Travel$ense, but rather a diagnosticor maintenance type report. Unique in this report is a list of “frequentflyers.”The Business Aircraft Performance Report provides the greatest range ofanalytical results from Travel$ense. The report can be limited to trips of aparticular status.121The report begins with basic statistics on the time period covered and numberof trips with and without airline data. The second section provides details onthe most frequent travelers on the business aircraft selected. This includespassenger names, number of trips taken, title, department, dates of first andlatest trips and the total number of files flown. This is a good resource foridentifying those employees who benefit most from the aircraft and who mightbe a good candidate to present with a Personal Summary Report. The numberof passengers shown is limited to the top 20 and those with more than onetrip taken typically. The third section presents a list of those trips without airline data. A trip isincomplete if it doesn’t have a price and at least the “winning” airline flightinformation for each of the up to 10 comparable airline trips within a singlebusiness aircraft trip. These trips also are flagged with an icon on the right sideof each row in the Open Trip screen. You can get airline data for any past trip automatically in Release 3, so thesetrips can be completed without any manual input of data. For more informationsee, Time-Shifting Past Airline Trips on page 88.The fourth section presents a list of those trips with unexpected results. Eachtrip is flagged with a description keyed to a detailed description that appearsbelow the table. These trips may be correct, in fact.
