The last section of the report provides details on all of theaircraft used within the report (performance, cost basis) and the currentdefault settings.Travel$ense Database ReportsThe Travel$ense Defaults ReportThe Defaults Report is a printout of the estimates and assumptions Travel$enseuses to analyze trips. It includes brief definitions of the key terms as well astheir current values. It should be used in setting up Travel$ense before any tripsare run. Key decision makers in your company should review and set theassumptions. This report is designed to assist in this process. Other Travel$enseinformation, such as the videotape included with the software, also would beuseful in educating management about what Travel$ense can do and theimportance of their role in setting up the software according to yourcompany’s own values. The defaults report is presented in six sections over four pages, correspondingto the six tabs on the Default Settings. A paragraph describes the meaning andeffect of each group of default settings.Travel$ense always uses the current defaults in displaying results for an opentrip but always uses the defaults in effect when the trip was saved while runningSummary Reports across trips. Changes in defaults will only affect future tripsunless you open saved trips and re-save them (just open and hit “Save”).For more information, see Default Settings on page 25.Copyright © 1999, National Business Aviation Association, Inc.
