The Schedule Proposal dialog box pops up. Update the following fields:<br />

Start Date: Today’s date is the default. We recommend that you use today’s date<br />

to schedule a proposal for your payment run.<br />

Start Immediately: If you want your schedule proposal to start immediately,<br />

make sure that this checkbox is clicked. If this checkbox is not clicked, you must<br />

specify a start time in the Start Time field.<br />

Click the Enter button on the bottom-right side of the screen. The system status displays “Proposal is<br />

ready to be started” under “Parameter have been entered”. Click the<br />

button on the top-left side of<br />

the screen to see the status of your payment proposal. The system status displays “Proposal is running”. Click<br />

the<br />

button again to create your payment proposal. The display on the status screen will turn green<br />

and state that “Payment proposal has been created”.<br />

Payment Runs<br />

When you execute a payment run, the system will read your payment and perform the following functions:<br />

• Clear selected items for payment<br />

• Clear open items in accounts payable<br />

• Reduce payables against appropriate G/L accounts<br />

• Post payments to bank sub-accounts as per transfers and checks<br />

To execute a payment run, click the<br />

Start Date: This defaults to today’s date.<br />
