Analysis <strong>of</strong> forces that cause pervasive fluctuations in aggregate<br />
business activity; the effects <strong>of</strong> these fluctuations on individual business firms<br />
and industries. The relationships among long-run trends and shorter cycles;<br />
forecasting techniques and policy measures. The growing impact <strong>of</strong> gove,rnment<br />
decisions on the pr<strong>of</strong>its <strong>of</strong> a particular business and on price and income<br />
levels related to business actions such as inventory and investment policies<br />

Major principles and practices in the site-selection decision-making process,<br />
considered in the light <strong>of</strong> general location theory, the overall pattern <strong>of</strong> urban<br />
land use, specific types <strong>of</strong> business, consumer shopping behavior, real-estate<br />
considerations, and government policy; emphasis on problems <strong>of</strong> intraregional<br />
rather than interregional site selection and on urban developments.<br />

Study <strong>of</strong> the several flelds <strong>of</strong> law related to business: negotiable instruments;<br />
sales <strong>of</strong> personal property; real property, including landlord and tenant and<br />
mechanic's liens; security devices for credit transactions; business torts;<br />
