FEES AND DEPOSITS<br />
iug classes carrying a total credit <strong>of</strong> 8 term hours or more pay a fee <strong>of</strong> $90.00 a term;<br />
auditors attending classes carrying a total credit <strong>of</strong> 7 term hours or less pay fees in<br />
accordance with the part-time fee scale (see above).<br />
Late-Registration Fee : minimum, $5.00<br />
A full·time student who registers after the scheduled registration dates <strong>of</strong> any term<br />
pays a late·registration fee <strong>of</strong> $5.00 for the first late day plus $1.00 for each late day<br />
thereafter.<br />
Change-<strong>of</strong>-Program Fee $1.00<br />
A student may be required to pay this fee for each change in his <strong>of</strong>ficial program after<br />
the scheduled last day for adding courses.<br />
Reinstatement Fee $2.00<br />
If for any reason a student has his registration canceled during a term for failure to<br />
comply with the regulations <strong>of</strong> the institution, but is later allowed to continue his work,<br />
he must pay the reinstatement fee.<br />
Special Examination Fee per term hour, $1.00<br />
A student pays a fee <strong>of</strong> $1.00 per term hour for the privilege <strong>of</strong> taking an examina·<br />
tion for advanced credit, or other special examinations.<br />
Graduate Qualifying Examination Fee $1.oo to $15.00<br />
Paid by students taking the Graduate Record Examination or other standard tests <strong>of</strong><br />
ability to do graduate work.<br />
Transcript Fee $1.00<br />
For a transcript <strong>of</strong> his <strong>University</strong> academic record, a student pays a fee <strong>of</strong> $1.00 for<br />
the first copy and SO cents each for additional copies furnished at the Same time.<br />

Refunds<br />
Fee Refunds. Students who withdraw from the <strong>University</strong> and who have<br />
complied with the regulations governing withdrawals are entitled to certain refunds<br />
<strong>of</strong> fees paid, depending on the time <strong>of</strong> withdrawal. The refund schedule has<br />
been established by the State Board <strong>of</strong> Higher Education, and is on file in the<br />
<strong>University</strong> Business Office. All refunds are subject to the following regulations:<br />
(1) Any claim for refund must be made in writing before the close <strong>of</strong> the term in whieh<br />
the claim originated.<br />
(2) Refunds in all cases are calculated from the date the student <strong>of</strong>fieially withdraws from<br />
the <strong>University</strong>) not from the date when the student ceased attending classes, except in unusual<br />
cases when formal withdrawal has been delayed through causes largely beyond the control <strong>of</strong> the<br />
student.<br />
Deposit Refunds. The $15.00 deposit, less any deductions which may have<br />
been made, is refunded about six weeks after the close <strong>of</strong> the academic year.<br />
Students who discontinue their work at the <strong>University</strong> before the end <strong>of</strong> the year<br />
may receive refunds, upon petition to the Business Office, about six weeks after<br />
the close <strong>of</strong> the fall or winter terms.<br />
Regulations Governing Nonresident Fee<br />
Under the regulations <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Oregon</strong> State Board <strong>of</strong> Higher Education, a<br />
minor student whose parent or guardian is a bona fide resident <strong>of</strong> <strong>Oregon</strong> qualifies<br />
for enrollment under the resident fee; a student whose domicile is independent<br />
